License Will Not Release

Insydium, I am having an issue with our license. Something has made it stick to one machine's Team Render Client and I cannot get it to un-bind so I can activate it in R19 on a new machine. Now I have uninstalled all Maxon software on the original machine and it still says the license is in use and ...

Re: Real Time Improvements

I also support this.

The Cycles Preview window is very laggy. Yes, you can turn down the size of the render, but often times you must make it too small or it still may not even speed up enough by shrinking the raster.

It needs to be more optimized and behave more intelligently.

Thanks,
Monty

Functionality Between Cycles4D and RealFlow 2.0

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or thoughts on the inter-operability between Cycles4D and Next Limit's RealFlow 2.0 . Currently the Cycles4D Particle Tag does not produce any results. The only way to render RealFlow in Cycles4D is to use massive amounts of geometry. Also it doesn't seem ...

Re: eevee

I like and agree with bododge point. I think Cycles4D needs to pay more attention to what's happening in the viewport. for feedback and not think that you can only rely on the render preview.

Re: Up-Res'd TFD sim in Cycles

Cycles 4D is rendering the Up-Res'd sim out of position. Though I appreciate finally getting some answers, your solve is a brute force workaround that only sort-of works. But at least your reproducing the error. So can we say that Cycles is not able to properly render up-res'd sims for TFD?

Re: Up-Res'd TFD sim in Cycles

Insydium has now had my project files for a week without a single email or attempt to contact me regarding this issue.

Clustering Berry Dude

A cool structure that was very easy to build and totally accidental. This is why I love Cycles and XParticles and think they're incredible tools of creativity. Thanks Insydium!

Re: Post Processing Feature

While I think it's true that final fx post-processing should ultimately be done in composite, I do agree that it is a very nice feature in Octane. Often I find myself turning it on just to see what happens for fun. Sometimes tools can be powerful even if you only use it as a way to help make test re...

Re: Up-Res'd TFD sim in Cycles

OK that's done.

But one thing I noticed was a mention on the bottom of your support page regarding this forum:

"We also have an active forum, you may find your question has already been answered."

I guess that won't be the case with this one.
