Re: Concerns about Cycles4D

I'm going to bump this thread simply cause I would love to just say again that constant bug fixes / updates are so welcomed. Hate to compare to the redshift team - but having constant updated builds is so awesome for customers. Just wondering if insydium is open to doing this as well or if it's bec...

Re: stick texture

Mmm kind of a bummer for what I was intending to do. I was trying to do some blend shapes that also had a bend deformer on the entire geo - but I didn't want the texture to stretch. Only way to do that was through a stick texture tag.

Anyways thanks for getting to it! I know you guys are always busy!

stick texture

I did a search but couldn't find a topic on this... so sorry if someone has posted about this before. Is the stick texture tag not recognized by cycles? It doesn't seem to be working for me when I map something with flat projection and do a simple bend to it with a stick texture tag on the geo. Any ...

Re: Glass BSDF (Custom Timesaver)

... maybe i'm wrong... the mixrgb doesn't equal 0.45... it equals .55? since it's inverting the value from white to black, instead of black to white...

Re: Glass BSDF (Custom Timesaver)

Man - I really wish I understood some of cycles math nodes more in depth. This is so confusing to me haha. You may find my screen shot here hilarious but... I honestly don't get what's goin on just with these first three nodes... Someone explain the math behind this... why it's piped to a wh...

Re: nice things to have

+1 on being able to drag out render regions.

Arnold and Redshift have a nice way by simply holding shift+click n'drag to drag a new render region. Something like that would be great.
