Re: noise in image based lighting

Thank you for the tip Martin, I will try this. I'm rendering on a dual gpu system. Did you render the branched setup on multiple gpu too?

Re: noise in image based lighting

Agreed Mohamed, rendering times went up at 24 samples, but denoising is only ment for stills. Or is it? This is an animation.

noise in image based lighting

First testrenders in Cycles here. I'm rendering a concave object (skull) with a background image and getting lots of noise. I've upped the sampling to 24 and use 3 AO bounces. What other dials can i turn to get rid of this?

Re: xplosiafx container cast shadow

Thank you for explaining this Mohamed. It's a very addictive combination, xparticles and cycles 4d.

Re: xplosiafx container cast shadow

Thank you Martin, that does solve the problem though i cannot move the ground plane back to the exact same location without recreating the unwanted shadow. Hope this gets adressed in a future release or is this a long standing bug?

xplosiafx container cast shadow

Hi, my name is Philip. I'm new to cycles4d so i just followed along with a tutorial creating some smoke and flames here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3xq7I1FRtY Problem is the xplosia container appears to be casting a shwadow on the floor object and i cannot make it go away. Must be something ver...
