Swapping out images during render

Hi Folks,

I need to render a monitor with a changing image every few seconds. I've tried key framing the texture slot in the image node so its one image at frame x and another at x+1 but although it kind of works while setting it up, as soon as I render the screen goes bright pink?
I've tried every combination of 'load from disk' on or off and 'animate' check on or off but nothing is working. The new images are just stills and not a movie. Is there a way to do this in cycles? Or if the swapping out doesn't work what's a better way?

I suppose I could make copies of the screen each with a different texture and animate the visibility... That would work but seems a clunky solution to me...

D'oh! Forget it, I'm an idiot! I had accidentally clicked the 'colour' box of the texture node so the output was only showing that channel... it's a bit easy to do that actually!

Anyway, once I clicked off that its working perfectly. :-)
