IPR constantly refreshing

Having a weird issue where the IPR will constantly refresh when the timeline isn't playing/everything has stopped, anyone else had this?

I am having this exact problem on a simple scene.

Stuck at 8 samples and keep refreshing.

I have had this same problem about 10 times now. Have to restart Cinema. It usually happens when I make a GPU/CPU heavy change in my scene. It just renders one sample, then restarts the preview render, and loops. Restarting Cinema fixes it.

Tried restarting cinema4D, the pc. And it still behave the same.

I have one 1080 Ti.

Edit: Just tried at work and it's the same (1 x 980ti)

Weirdly has stopped after turning off a cube I had in the scene. Really odd...

Weird stuff,

Have you found a solution beside deleting the cube ?

i found out i can only see the first frame. All others just loop after a few samples.

the new release is out - saw this bug still happens though. was hoping that issue was going to be resolved. otherwise it's an amaaaaazing update

!! issue is back, now seems like the culprit in my scene is a xpGenerator - turn it on, constant refresh, off - back to normal....

just to clarify this, the problem is how Cinema4D is generating the cache.
when it generates cache for any object, it generates it with a flag (ID), we then check all of the object data, if they get any change we update the object based on that.
some objects Cinema4D forces them to change their IDs (even when they didn't change!), we couldn't find a workaround for this one yet, but we are aware of the problem.

unfortunately not yet, some objects do this (even if they didn't change) and there is no good way to solve. (like a cloner object who is targeting an object, in some cases it gives a different cache each step!), and there is no way to detect it from our side.

If it's of any help, i did some tests on my scene(which consists of some mograph Text with effectors in it. This bug seems to be happening whenever the mograph effectors are enabled. And only if it is a parametric object. I posted two images, one with the effectors enabled(in the motext object) and one with the effectors disabled. The constant refreshing stops whenever i disable them.

this is true, generators are the problem (they update with false flags, creating the same object again with a different id, which forces a refresh).

Another case:

1. Cloner (I was fine)
2. First MoSpline (I was fine)
3. Second MoSpline (IPR starts the refresh loop)
