MotionBlur and Subdividing crashes Cycles

MotionBlur and Subdividing crashes Cycles

posted a bug before, but maybe there is an effective workaround.

I have a scene, in which I want to render an in-camera MotionBlur. On a moving object, I need an SDS.

So I tried to work with an SDS-object => MB doesn't sho on the object (object vanishes)
Second I tried to subdivide the object with a Cycles Object tag (Catmull-Clark). MB works for a moment, then it crashes.

So, my solution for now, is subdividing the object completely in the modeling stage :-(

Any suggestions and is it possible to fix the problem?
