Wacom Zoom Support in Nodes View

Post by RyanSummers » Wed Nov 16, 2016 8:44 am

Not a deal breaker but I couldn't successfully map a shortcut in C4D to get the Nodes editor to Scale in/out with my Wacom pen. Holding 2 still works, so there's an easy stop gap for now — but Alt+MMB works to initiate panning. I'd love to be able to zoom in/out with Alt+RMB with a Wacom pen.

in the future there may be more short cuts.
right now zooming got 2 short cuts, mouse wheel/ 2 + lmb
pan: 1 + lmb/ mmb

I don't use the default hotkeys for viewport navigation in C4D. Instead I use the Alt+RMB to zoom/scale instead of number 2. Alt+MMB for pan and Alt+LMB for rotate also.
I only use the Wacom to navigate (no mouse) and the alt is a hotkey on the Wacom tablet.
I didn't see a way to assign custom hotkeys in the customize commands dialogue. Can you add customization there and can you add the pan and zoom buttons in the top right of the node editor view just like the the viewports and xpresso views have?

Same for me, I´m on a wacom and also using Alt+MMB and Alt+LMB.

So please add this as soon as possible :)

I would like to +1 this request. Navigating with a wacom is a bit painful. I understand 1 and 2 work... but thats just not natural :D

+1, same reason (pen/tablet)

Right now, UX using pen/tablet is awkward in multiple places.

I'm looking into this, as I don't have a Wacom, right now the shortcuts are:
MMB = pan
1 + LMB = pan
wheel = zoom
2 + LMB = zoom
alt + LMB = wire cut.

non of the above work with Wacom pen?

Using 2+LMB works for the wacom. I think that because the MMB pans just like the wacom behavior, users are expecting the Alt/Cmd + RMB to zoom.

Pls implement an alt+RMB to zoom in and out of the nodes!

Thanks!
