object or shader based camera post effect settings

Post by kasezo » Sun Jan 28, 2018 11:41 pm

hi, when i working with bloom effect, goes a small problem. because there is threshold factor and its affecting lot of objects in one time if they are same intensity-ligth level. for example: there are muliptle iluminating objects but i need only one object to glow. c4d native renderer does this via glow chanel in material editor.

so will be very good if we can set up post effects as object or shader based. or addional tab in cyobject tag for individual post effect settings. if its possibe we can use different glow radius or different intensity for every object.

if its not possible will be good object inclusion/exclusion option in cycamera-post effects tab. and we can grayscale render but can keep colors for some objects. or some thing another usages can be good to. :geek:

Hi,

thanks for reaching out. I´m not sure if this is even possible but I will add object based post effects to our wishlist.

Thanks,

Mario

it is not possible, the post effect is acting on the image buffer not inside the rendering kernel.

Thanks for clarifying Mohamed. I´ll delete the feature request from the list then.

Cheers,
