Magic X-Ray Glass / Quick Tip Remix

Post by Jonas Schmidt » Fri Jan 12, 2018 3:52 pm

Hey Cy4D folks,

I was inspired by the Quick Tips from Martin Wall. Big up for the shared uploads so far :-)
Glad to see so much amazing work here that helps a lot getting started with Cy4D and unleash the engine magic :D

I did a little mashup of different Shared Uploads. My goal was to achieve some kind of X-Ray Magic Glass.
But without any interactions of the "inside" material with the "outside" world - like reflections and light caustics.

I used following techniques + materials:

Quick Tip: Camera Ray by Martin viewtopic.php?f=6&t=709#p3581
Wireframe Node by Mario viewtopic.php?f=6&t=236&p=1098
Glass BSDF by Mario viewtopic.php?f=6&t=481

And here is my result:

This is super cool, Jonas. Further proof of how useful the Light Path node can be! Thanks for sharing!
